Our tanks are not looking favorably at the tank squish and jokingly - or maybe not jokingly - said that tanks would be unecessary in warlords and raid groups would just be dps ping ponging aggro back and forth with a few healers.
Hybrid spell casters are losing their raid healing cooldowns and utility while pure dps are gaining utility. Hybrids are saying they followed the burning crusade World of Nostalgiacraft formula to a T for warlords in that hybrid dps speccs are just for leveling and only healing specs will be viable. So far I've heard hunters, warriors, mages, monks, warlocks and shaman claim that their class will be the most underpowered next expac. I guess with everyone being useless in the expansion, no one will even be able to do dungeons or raids and we'll just sit in our main city hub and complain.
Basically what I'm getting at is that if everyone all sees their class being nerfed, is it really nerfed? What do we use as a basis of comparison for who's underpowered or overpowered? Will the best class be the "least underpowered", or will we just be able to accept that maybe an overall decrease in power was the goal in the first place? We saw a stat squish, a tank squish, and a fundamental change to the way healing works, I think it's safe to say that we're all going to feel a bit of a sting, but the question is - if we're all feeling it, does it even matter?
I bet everyone's just upset that we didn't get mega damage |
Maybe we could just wait until the expansion actually comes out to complain about who's underpowered. We have beta and 6.0 but people are insisting that beta is too far in to have any significant changes before release. The thing is, when was the last time it was too late to have any changes to a game that is constantly changing?
We can all get mad and argue about our classes after we're all level 100, for now just relax.
